- Collectible Toys And Games Give Playing With Toys A Whole New Meaning
Toys have always been a factor in children’s lives although their priority and availability has changed over the years. Collectible toys and games reflect the evolution of children’s toys and have become the subject of many serious collectors. They are interested in more than the play value of a toy. The play value is actually not a consideration for them at all. The most valuable collectible toys and games have never even been removed from their original packaging. The fact that they are in brand new condition after possibly decades is very appealing to collectors. Old toys with some wear and use may still be valuable depending on their rarity and historical significance. Author: Laurie Simpson - Date: May 22, 2005
