• Encore Signs Publishing Agreement With Lost Toys
  Encore, a majority-owned subsidiary of Navarre Corporation, today announced that it has signed an exclusive North American agreement with UK-based Lost Toys to publish the PC version of Battle Engine Aquila, a mech combat game with land and air engagement. Under this agreement, Encore is managing sales, distribution and marketing for the game, while Lost Toys is delivering the content. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

• Thomas The Tank Engine And Friends Keep Children's Imagination Chugging Along!
  Thomas the Tank Engine is more than fifty years old. He originated in England in 1945 when The Reverend W. Awdry wrote the first book in the Railway Series. Since then a generation of children have grown to love the cheeky engine and friends on the Island of Sodor. Thomas the Tank Engine and friends grew out of the author’s love of the railroad and his pleasure in telling stories to his children. They first appeared to the public in the form of children’s books but rapidly turned into a regular television show.
