Spiderman toys and collectibles spin a great web of entertainment!

Spiderman has been a comic super hero for many years and has captured the imagination of children as well as adults. Spiderman toys and collectibles are based on the stories of this super hero and how he came to be Spiderman. Peter Parker was an innocent schoolboy on a field trip when a genetically altered spider bit him. This changed his life and turned him into Spiderman the super hero. His character first appears in comic books and was very popular from the time it was introduced. The comic book series of his adventures carried on for many years and spawned a large selection of Spiderman toys and collectibles.

As time went on Spiderman appeared in a regular television cartoon show and began to appear in movies. Spiderman toys and collectibles became more sophisticated and collectors found their collections were becoming valuable. The older the toys and the better the condition of them, the more they are worth to a collector. The most valuable ones are the oldest and have never been out of their boxes. This is of course a small number of toys compared to what has been produced over the years. It is hard not to let a child play with his Spiderman toys and to save them instead.

There is no limit to the situations, themes and types of Spiderman toys and collectibles. He appears in the form of toys, movies, books and television shows. You can purchase clothes and bedding with his image on them and his costume is always popular with children at Halloween.
