New PLAY-DOH ARTS 'N CRAFTS Line... Bringing Imagination to Creation in a Whole New Way
For generations, the classic PLAY-DOH modeling compound has been a favorite way to create and play. This year, Hasbro's ever-popular PLAY-DOH brand mixes with traditional arts and crafts for a whole new kind of fun -- the PLAY-DOH way! Hasbro announces the introduction of the PLAY-DOH ARTS 'N CRAFTS line featuring PLAY-DOH crayons, markers and paints!
Available now exclusively at Target stores nationwide, PLAY-DOH ARTS 'N CRAFTS products feature traditional art tools with a PLAY-DOH flair. For example, the crayons come in various fun shapes and the markers have two ways to play. Children can create and play at the same time!
This unique line makes arts and crafts fun, said Ira Hernowitz, general manager, Hasbro's First Fun division. By utilizing the popular play patterns in PLAY-DOH, we were able to put a new twist on everyday arts and crafts tools and inspire children to create in new ways.
PLAY-DOH brand crayons come in a variety of colors with fun, funky shapes. The eight-pack of crayons, which are inside a reusable plastic storage case, are easy for children to grip because of their chunky size. The 16-pack of crayons comes complete with a crayon sharpener styled like the classic PLAY-DOH FUN FACTORY.
To widen your array of colors and drawing options, the CRAYON CREATIVITY PACK includes 16 crayons with a variety of rainbow, neon and metallic colors, stencils, a sharpener and a 24-picture coloring book that features PLAY-DOH's DOH-DOH characters and MR. POTATO HEAD.
The PLAY-DOH MARKO ROLLO products are two-in-one washable markers that roll different patterns with a roller tip. Open the cap on the opposite side to find a regular marker.
Also available now are PLAY-DOH paint rollers, stampers and a variety of brushes for aspiring young artists. Fill up a brush, stamper or roller with water and squeeze it onto the dry paint cases for the right paint shade. Fabric brushes are available and the watercolor paints are washable. Children can create an array of colorful masterpieces.
This April, the line will be expanded with the introduction of PLAY-DOH ARTS 'N CRAFTS fountain paints. The paints include four tubes of paint that come in uniquely styled containers. The container is designed so that it is more difficult for children to tip. Kids squeeze the sides of the tubes to drop the paint onto the mixing tray, where they can mix paints to make new colors without mixing the paint in the containers. The tray is also easy to rinse off without getting water inside the paint container. Fountain paints also comes with a fabric tip brush.
