Beautiful Ladies of Buffy Make Action Figure Debut

Two new figures from the world of Buffy the Vampire Slayer are making their way to retailers' shelves, and they are available exclusively through Diamond Comic Distributors!

During its seven-season run, Buffy the Vampire Slayer was one of the most popular genre shows on television. The series' combination of humor, action, romance, and horror garnered a legion of avid fans who have celebrated and spread the word about the show.

Buffy's success has continued since the series' finale in 2003, as evidenced by its best-selling DVD collections, comic books, and multitude of merchandise and accessories. Now fans can add to their collections with the newest addition to the Buffy merchandise line, the Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Tara and Anya Action Figures!

Sculpted by master sculptor Clayburn Moore, these 6 inch-tall action figures feature multiple points of articulation, and are the next wave of Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles' best-selling Buffy figure line. First, there's Anya - Xander's ex-fiancée and a demon-turned-human - who sports a sexy red tank top and a wealth of accessories, including an amulet, potion bottle, ledger book, cash register, countertop, and wooden floor base. Then there's Willow's tragic lost love, Tara, who comes with a bookcase, a potion bottle, a green candle, a spellbook, and a wooden floor base.

This wave also includes a Tara chase figure, which features an alternative paint scheme for the figure, base, and accessories. Scheduled to be in stores in July 2004, this is one action figure wave that no Buffy buff will want to miss!
