Kylie Fashion Doll Launches Internationally

JAKKS Pacific, Inc. announced that it will manufacture and distribute fashion dolls, accessories and playsets based on top international performing artist Kylie Minogue, under a new licensing agreement with Darenote Ltd. The agreement was brokered by Delux Merchandise Corporation, SNI's European agent for Kylie Minogue.

Based on the world-renowned pop star, the new Kylie Minogue doll will reflect the current trends and styles of active and fashionable young women around the globe. The fashion doll created by JAKKS Pacific/Kidz Biz will include coordinating outfits and accessories and will replicate the beauty of the top recording artist through intricate face sculpts using Real Scan technology and exquisite, highly detailed fashions.

Using Real Scan technology, JAKKS' doll designers worked with Kylie, taking 360-degree scans of her head to achieve close to 100% accuracy. With a revolutionary life-like body, the Kylie Minogue fashion doll has multiple points of articulation to capture the best rock star poses and fashions. The Kylie Minogue fashion doll will begin to hit retail shelves in January 2004 in the UK. Kylie Minogue's new album, 'Body Language,' was released internationally in November 2003.
