New ground-breaking Professor Noggin’s Card Games

Four new titles of the Kid-friendly Professor Noggin’s Card Game Series made their official debut today, providing ground-breaking topics that will enrich the education of children on some rarely touched topics such as First Peoples of North America.

With eight popular titles released last summer, the Professor Noggin’s Card Game Series has built upon the success of its Parents’ Choice Seal of Approval in December, and plans to grow on its success with the addition of these four new card games.

While last year’s Professor Noggin games focused largely on nature subjects, Professor Noggin’s new games offer children a look at past and present lifestyles, the marvels of science, and the inspiring people who have changed the world, said game-maker and Outset Media president David Manga. Ancient Civilizations, First Peoples of North America, Wonders of Science, and Famous Inventions are the four new titles, which had their official release today.

First Peoples of North America celebrates the rich cultural diversity of North America’s First Peoples. The game covers the earliest methods of hunting, farming, art, transportation, and traditions, from various tribes throughout the continent. Fun and factually accurate, this game offers teachings on the aspects of life and culture of First Peoples in North America.

Created by educational game company Outset Media, the Professor Noggin series currently has game topics on insects, birds, dinosaurs, outer space, countries, wildlife, farm life and ocean life.

The Professor Noggin’s Series combines trivia, true/false, and multiple choice questions using 30 professionally illustrated cards and a special three-numbered dice in each game. Players learn unusual facts and enhance their communication skills while playing. Each game is designed for ages 7 and up, 2 to 8 players.
