A Monthly Reward through New Cartoon Pen Pal Program
To kick off the launch of the new Sharing Precious Times children's business, Sharing Precious Times today announced a new and unique gift idea for parents, which encourages camaraderie, helps with reading skills, and provides a year-long treat. The Sharing Precious Times new Cartoon Pen Pal program features a series of cartoon characters with varied interests and personalities.
Kids and parents identify their favorite cartoon character and sign-up to receive a letter every month -- in a colorful envelope with a small prize inside from their pen pal.
Children will enjoy reading, writing and learning with his or her cartoon character pen pal. Sharing Precious Times is kicking off the program with five characters to choose from: Bea Aballerina, Blake Sportster, Hannah Highlander, Buggy Powers and Chester Bookish.
Our research shows that children between the ages of 2-10 years of age thoroughly enjoy receiving regular correspondence through the mail, said Jennifer Caton, founder and president of Sharing Precious Times. We strive to use the pen pal program as an ongoing gift for children which lasts throughout the year, and provides the benefit of encouraging reading and writing skills at the same time.
Although the letters are directed to children on a monthly basis, children are encouraged to use their writing skills and write back. They will receive tailored responses in the next letter from their cartoon pen pal.
