Collector Online Enables Participating Dealers To List On Yahoo! Classifieds and Yahoo! Auctions

Collector Online announced today that it is working with Yahoo! Inc.to enable Collector Online's participating dealers to place more than 30,000 antique and collectible items for sale on Yahoo!® Classifieds, a free service providing consumers with access to one of the Web's most extensive classifieds databases available today. In addition, Collector Online is helping auction sellers using Collector Online's Inventory Management System™ to list and sell their items on Yahoo! Auctions, the fastest-growing, globally-branded auction site on the Internet.

Now, when a Collector Online dealer enters inventory for sale into their online storefront at Collector Online, dealers' listings will automatically be posted in Yahoo! Classifieds under the "Antiques and Collectibles" category, allowing dealers to reach Yahoo! Classifieds' audiences. Through Yahoo! Classifieds' advanced search, browsing options, and directory integration, it is even easier for online shoppers to find items of interest provided by Collector Online participants. Whether a dealer specializes in high-end art pottery, collectible dolls or Victorian furniture, they will find an expanded audience of buyers on Yahoo! Classifieds.

This new relationship will broaden the visibility of the more than 220 merchants now hosted within Collector Online's dealer community, already one of the leading antiques and collectibles mall on the Internet and a provider of free Web-based auction management tools, said Erik Wheeler, president of Collector Online.

As part of Collector Online's Send to Auction™ program, dealers using Collector Online's Inventory Management System (IMS) can also choose to send their items to Yahoo! Auctions directly from their free IMS account. IMS is a freeWeb-based management tool for Collector Online dealers and collectors that allows sellers to send items to multiple auctions and track their online and real-world sales from one convenient location.

Through Yahoo!'s suite of commerce services including Yahoo! Classifieds and Yahoo! Auctions, individuals and businesses can reach and sell their products to a world marketplace at no cost. These free services allow entrepreneurs to grow their businesses and reach a massive audience of interested buyers, said Susan Carls, senior producer with Yahoo!. We are happy to provide Collector Online's more than 220 dealers with an integrated online commerce solution to distribute and sell their merchandise.

Collector Online dealer Sharon Bragg is enthusiastic about the new program. I have had great success with Yahoo! and am thrilled that it is now included on the growing list of IMS auction choices. It's now easier than ever for me to list items and get the highest prices for my Fenton Art Glass. My favorite thing about Yahoo! Auctions is that it is so user friendly and allows me to load images (photos) directly from my PC.
