First Matchbox Collectibles Edition of Barrett-Jackson Collection Released

The first series in the Matchbox Collectibles edition of the Barrett-Jackson Collection has now been released. The 2002 Miniature-Scale Collection of die-cast vehicles features a set of six truly unique collector cars. Each example, authentically decorated and detailed in the 1/64 size, represents one of the exceptional vehicles that have actually crossed the auction block at the famed Barrett-Jackson Auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The Spring 2002 Miniature Scale includes:

* 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop

* 1956 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible

* 1957 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

* 1967 Volkswagen Microbus

* 1968 Ford Mustang Cobra Jet

* 1971 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28

The Barrett-Jackson Collection is available in the toy departments of major merchandisers including Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, and Target. Future Barrett-Jackson Collection series in the Miniature-Scale and Traditional-Scale are scheduled for release in the Fall of 2002.
