World's Largest Airlines Collectibles Conference

Airliners International 2003, the world's premier commercial airlines collectible event, will be held July 10-12 at the Hyatt Regency. More than 1,000 airline enthusiasts and collectors are expected to attend.

All types of collectibles associated with the commercial airline industry will be on display and for sale, including photographs, clothing, books, postcards, models and even airsick bags.

Airliners International 2003 is sponsored by the World Airline Historical Society, which is composed of groups and individuals interested in collecting airline memorabilia and the study of the airline industry, past and current.

Airliners International 2003 is being held in Ohio to celebrate the 100th anniversary of powered flight. In addition to the three-day collectibles show, the World Airline Historical Society will sponsor trips to the United State Air Force Museum, the Inventing Flight Exhibition and key Wright Brothers historical sites in Dayton. Visits to Columbus historical sights - such as the boyhood home of war hero Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker, who was also a former president of Eastern Airlines - are also planned.
