Disney Princess Brand promoted on TV this Fall

Playmates Toys Inc. unveiled an exciting Disney lineup of dolls, interactive playsets and accessories at the American International Toy Fair 2003 that opened in New York today.

Among the many new Disney Princess products highlighted were a child-activated Dancing Cinderella doll; Talking Ariel doll, Before Once Upon a Time Little Princesses (Sleeping Beauty and Snow White); Princess Magic Talk Figures, Playsets and Royal Wedding Coach, Stylin' Fun Princess styling heads and Perfectly Princess Soft Dolls, Fashions and Furniture. All the products are for girls ages three and up.

Disney Princess Dancing Cinderella. Playmates Toys lead Disney Princess promoted doll in Fall 2003. “Dancing Cinderella encompasses our goal to make the Disney Princesses come 'to life' in a very 'magical' and 'visual' way for the little girl, said Lori Farbanish, Vice President of Marketing Licensed Brands at Playmates Toys. The Disney Princess Brand is where dreams begin; it’s about adventure, fantasy and magic for little girls everywhere, said Farbanish.

Dancing Cinderella is a beautiful 15 large doll dressed in her signature blue ball gown. By pressing the jewel on Cinderella’s tiara, a little girl can make Cinderella twirl to the music! Disney Princess Dancing Cinderella will be available in Fall 2003 at a suggested retail of $34.99. It will be supported by national TV media campaign that will air during the holiday selling season. Once Upon A Princess. Introducing the first segment of classic Disney Princess large dolls who really talk! Once Upon A Princess Ariel is the first Disney Princess to debut in this line. Ariel is 17.5 and comes dressed in her sparkly mermaid outfit. Ariel wears a seashell necklace and has a child-sized necklace for a special little girl. Hear Ariel talk and sing when the button is pressed on her back! Ariel is available in Fall 2003.

Before Once Upon a Time Disney Little Princesses. Little Sleeping Beauty Slumber Party for Two and Little Snow White Garden Party for Two are two new additions to our award winning Little Princesses line. The Disney Little Princesses are the first Disney Princess dolls that depict the Princesses as toddlers, said Farbanish. Accessories for both doll and girl are designed for play and are themed around little girls' favorite pastimes. Now, every little girl can have a Princess companion doll her own age.

Disney Princess Magic Talk. For the first time ever, the Disney Princesses as small dolls can talk when placed in interactive play environments! When a Princess figure is placed in a Magic Talk Playset, the figure comes to life through speech via the magic of Playmates’ resistor technology. Magic Talk Princess Figure Packs. Each 4.75 Princess Figure comes with accessories and environmental play pieces to create her own mini world. The figures are beautifully sculpted, articulated, and wear fabric skirts. In Fall 2003, Playmates will introduce 4 new Figure Packs into the current assortment.

Magic Talk Princess/Prince Playset Assortment. The Magic Talk Princess Playsets are interactive, fairytale environments that feature a special Magic Talk Prince and Princess together. Through Playmates intelli-tronic technology, little girls can hear the figures come to life through speech when placed in any of these interactive environments. In Fall 2003, the Enchanted Forest playset featuring Sleeping Beauty and her Prince, will be added into the current playset assortment: Celebration at Sea and the Royal Garden.

Magic Talk Deluxe Playset Assortment. The newest among the Deluxe Magic Talk playsets is the Royal Wedding Coach. The Royal Wedding Coach features Cinderella and Prince Charming on their wedding day and is the first vehicle Magic Talk Playset that features speech! Hear Cinderella and Prince Charming talk together about their special day when placed inside the Coach! As the couple shares their happy moment, the Coach’s horses will carry them to their next royal destination! The new Magic Talk Royal Wedding Coach and the Grand Ballroom, continuing again in Fall 2003.

All Magic Talk Princess Figures are compatible and work with all Magic Talk Playsets. Disney Princess Stylin’ Fun. These Disney Princess styling heads capture the beauty of the Disney Princesses and offer endless hair styling play and magical color change make-up play!

Stylin’ Fun Ariel and Stylin’ Fun Cinderella both have themed hair accessories for lots of styling play! Their make-up also magically changes with cold water!

Disney Perfectly Princess. Perfectly Princess is the first line of Disney Princess soft dolls, fashions and furniture accessories with a new, stylized look. This the first time the Disney Princesses are executed entirely in soft materials, says Farbanish. It’s a whole new look and new feel for the Disney Princesses. “Perfectly Princess capitalizes on the play patterns and contemporary design styles of soft dolls found in specialty markets, says Farbanish. These ‘collectible dolls’ with interchangeable fashions and soft furniture accessories allow little girls to create the perfect royal story and play environment.

Perfectly Princess Dolls. Perfectly Princess Belle and Cinderella are the first soft body 15 dolls to be introduced in Fall 2003. Dressed in their elegant ball gowns, these soft dolls are perfect for any little girl’s liking. Perfectly Princess Fashions. Dress dolls in time for tea or royal beauty sleep, with Perfectly Princess Tea Time Fashions and Bed Time Fashions. All outfits are interchangeable!

Perfectly Princess Furniture. No Princess environment is complete without the Royal Canopy Bed or Royal Vanity. Each furniture accessory is beautifully executed in a variety of soft materials and textures.
