Underwater Fun for Kids with New AquaDisc Fling

The AquaDisc Fling™, a brightly colored throw toy designed for underwater fun, is the newest addition by Seattle based manufacturer Aquatoy™ to their line of innovative products for the water. In response to the success of the company’s patented AquaDisc®, the AquaDisc Fling was specifically developed for younger users, ages 7 and up, to expand their enjoyment and comfort level in the water, and under the surface.

Aquatoy products incorporate the science of underwater motion (hydrodynamics) to create a unique and exciting play experience. The company will be showcasing their unique pool and water toys at the upcoming Super Show in Las Vegas, exhibiting in the New Products Section.

The AquaDisc Fling can travel up to 15 feet underwater with a gentle push, and offers a new activity for swimmers and snorkelers in pools or lakes. The 12 disc has a yellow plastic center surrounded by a soft, safe flexible edge in high visibility colors. A main feature is this new disc floats, making for easy retrieval and near-surface games for shallow end swimmers.

It’s easy to play with, said Pleasant Gertzman, age 8, who picked up an AquaDisc Fling poolside at the community pool. It kind of glides along like a fish. Right now, I’m practicing how far I can get it to go doing underwater catch with my sister.

The AquaDisc Fling comes in full color packaging with game ideas, including the Boomerang Throw, which sends the disc underwater and circling back to the thrower. Available at specialty stores and national Pool, Toy and Sporting Goods retailers.

The original AquaDisc, the Classic, travels faster and farther underwater, up to 30 feet, it has a firmer edge, and sinks. It is recommended for swimmers over 12. Also available is the best selling Glow AquaDisc, which glows in the dark for night swimming games.
