Seraphim Guard, Firefly Games Announce Agreement
A design consulting pact has been reached between small-press publishers Seraphim Guard and Firefly Games.
Firefly Games will assist with rules development for Fuzz: The Furry Police, an upcoming roleplaying game by Seraphim Guard.
Firefly’s assistance will be instrumental in getting Fuzz to the marketplace, and is extremely welcome, said Michael Hopcroft, proprietor of Seraphim Guard. Patrick is an expert on the Action! System, which will help us tremendously, and his Monster Island game was one of the big success stories of this year’s GenCon. I am tremendously honored that he has agreed to work with me.
This is a logical next step for Firefly Games, said Patrick Sweeney, president of Firefly Games. I’ve intended from the start for Firefly Games to function as a design studio for other companies along with publishing its own products. I’m pleased to be working with Seraphim Guard, which has tackled some interesting, rarely explored niches in the hobby game market with products such as HeartQuest.
Fuzz: the Furry Police is a roleplaying game of anthropomorphic cops and robbers set in a world where humans never evolved and animals of numerous descriptions and species have formed their own society. The player characters can be citizens, officers of the police department of the City by the Bay, or criminals trying to commit daring capers without getting caught by the police.
